The story of
AuraAthletic Fit.
I didn’t grow up in the golden age of women’s sports.
I was a tomboy in the '80s—living in sports tees and boys’ hand-me-downs, long before “athleisure” was cool. I loved to move, play, and compete. But back then, there weren’t many places for girls like me to feel at home in sports… or in what we wore while playing.
Fast forward to raising two daughters—and watching them grow into confident, capable young women—I saw a new generation of girl athletes emerging. My youngest, Ashlee, is a natural athlete with fire in her soul. I’d watch her grind through practices, slide across infields, sprint up courts… and still struggle to find gear, let alone gear that actually fit her. Gear that moved with her. That worked for her.
One day, standing in a chain sporting goods store staring at the limited softball products and empty racks, I had a moment.
“She deserves better.”
That spark became the first thread of AuraAthletic Fit.

Becky and Ashlee
Ashlee isn’t the only one. So many high school girls today are still wearing boys’ baseball jerseys or passed-down uniforms that were never made for their bodies. They roll the sleeves, tug at the waistbands, and learn to adjust instead of expecting something better.
We can—and should—do better for them.
Briana and Becky
Ashlee is the inspiration, no doubt. But my oldest daughter, Briana, shaped the foundation too. She reminds me of the importance of being grounded. Of being intentional. Of never forgetting who you are or why you started.
Together, they represent the heart of this brand.
AuraAthletic Fit was never just about selling athletic apparel. It’s about how girls feel in their gear. It’s about showing up, feeling strong, and knowing you belong—whether you’re warming up for your first game, traveling for club tournaments, or simply growing into who you are.
